Provably Fair Verifier
Prove your Stake results weren’t rigged — for free
Recompute any Stake Original result (Dice, Limbo, Keno, Mines, Plinko, Roulette) from its seeds and nonce, entirely in your browser. If the number matches what you saw in-game, the round was provably fair — nothing was decided after you placed your bet.
Where do I find my seeds?
On Stake: go to Settings → Fairness. Your current server seed is only shown hashed — rotate it (button on that page) to reveal the actual seed used for every bet you just made. Your client seed and each bet’s nonce are shown in your bet history. Paste those three values (plus cursor 0, unless Stake tells you otherwise) to check a real result.
Based on Stake’s publicly documented algorithm (HMAC-SHA256 of server seed, client seed, nonce and cursor). You must use a revealed server seed — active seeds are hashed and can’t be checked yet. Nothing you enter here is sent anywhere; the whole computation runs in your browser.
How it works
-
Reveal your server seed on Stake (rotate it if it’s still active), then copy your server seed, client seed and the nonce of the bet you want to check.
-
Pick the game — Dice, Limbo, Keno, Mines, Plinko or Roulette — and paste the three values into the verifier.
-
Compare the recomputed result to what Stake showed you. If they match, the round was provably fair.
About this tool
Every Stake Original commits to its outcome before you bet: a hashed server seed is shown up front, and once you rotate it, the original seed is revealed — letting anyone recompute exactly what HMAC-SHA256(server seed, client seed:nonce:cursor) produces and confirm it matches the result you were shown. This tool runs that recomputation for Dice, Limbo, Keno, Mines, Plinko and Roulette, using the same publicly documented algorithm Stake itself describes — validated against independent open-source reference implementations.
It’s a trust tool, not a prediction tool: it proves a past result wasn’t altered after your bet was placed, it doesn’t forecast future ones — the house edge and the odds are exactly the same either way. Nothing you paste here leaves your browser; the whole computation runs client-side. Read our card counting guide or bankroll calculator for the tools that actually shape your results.
Frequently asked questions
What is provably fair?
A system where the casino commits to a result before you bet (by showing a hashed server seed) and reveals the real seed afterward, so anyone can recompute the exact outcome and confirm nothing was changed after the fact. It proves fairness of a specific past round — it doesn’t make future rounds any less negative-EV.
Why can’t I verify my current bets?
Your active server seed is only shown hashed, precisely so it can’t be reverse-engineered while still in use. You need to rotate it first — Stake reveals the original seed the moment you do, and every bet made under it becomes checkable.
Does this tool store my seeds?
No. Everything runs in your browser using the Web Crypto API; nothing you type is sent to any server, ours or anyone else’s.
