About this tool
Keno looks like a lottery, but its odds are completely transparent: the casino draws 10 balls from 40, and the chance of matching exactly k of your picks is given by the hypergeometric distribution. That formula is fixed — it depends only on how many numbers you play, never on which numbers you choose or how long since they last appeared.
What does change between casinos is the paytable, and that is where the house edge hides. Enter your game’s payouts and this calculator weights each one by its exact probability to produce the true RTP. Frequently asked questions
Do some Keno numbers hit more often than others?
No. Every number has exactly the same chance of being drawn, and past draws never influence future ones. Picking “hot” or “cold” numbers changes nothing — only how many numbers you play affects your odds.
Is playing 10 numbers better than playing 4?
Not better, just different. More numbers means more chances of a partial match but a far lower chance of matching them all, and paytables adjust accordingly. The house edge stays roughly the same — what changes is your variance.
Why do I have to enter the payouts myself?
Because they differ by casino and by risk level, and we refuse to publish numbers we cannot verify. The probabilities are universal maths; the paytable is specific to your game, so copy it from the screen you actually play on.
